Feeding the Future
Our exciting 2025 program aligns with Australian Curriculum, features new classroom resources and involves 14 competitions from gardening to cheese making and photography to video production.
These competitions give students the opportunity to have a fun, hands-on experience in the classroom while learning about how agriculture plays an essential role in their everyday lives.
Importantly, it focuses on the global theme - ‘Feeding the Future’ – which explores food production, technology, innovation, and environmental agricultural practices as the world builds a sustainable future.
In 2025, our competitions are aligned with both Version 8.4 and Version 9 of Australian Curriculum to provide teachers an ease of application in the classroom.

The Ekka Learning Trail offers engaging learning opportunities at Ekka about a variety of agricultural topics and educates them about everything from farming to animal lifecycles and behaviours.

The Ekka provides first-class educational programs for schools and offers a large range of interactive activities for all age groups. The Ekka is focused on supporting and educating the next generation.
Education Resources
The Ekka Education Resources will have corresponding videos, activities and worksheets for teachers and students from agricultural industry experts that highlight the value of exploring agriculture in the classroom.
