Judging Commences
The Ekka’s Sheep Dog Trials are a showcase of skill and teamwork. Talented dogs and their handlers work together to herd sheep through a series of challenging tasks.
Judges evaluate the performance of both the handler and the dog based on several key criteria, including cast, approach, bridging, obstacle and general work.
The overall goal is to assess how well the dog can work independently, follow instructions, and handle the sheep with minimal disruption.
