The Horse Competition will once again see some of the best-groomed animals at Ekka take over the Main Arena.
Horses have been competing at the Ekka since the very first show in 1876 when silver cups were awarded to the best stallion and best heavy draught stallion.
More than 15 breeds of horses will be on display across seven days of judging.

Please note, all horses entering the Brisbane Showgrounds MUST be Hendra vaccinated in accordance with the RNA’s Horse and Arena, and Veterinary, Biosecurity and Animal Welfare Committees regulations.
